If you are familiar with the online navigation tool Google Maps, your best bet is probably to click here and ask Google for directions from wherever you live.
Alternatively, listed below are a series of directions from each of the major ports nearby.
From Cherbourg
Take the E46 towards Caen, then take the 158 to Sees, then the 138 towards Alencon and Le Mans. At La Hutte, take the D310 to Fresnay-sur-Sarthe and on to Sille-le-Guillaume. Go through the town taking the D35 towards Bais and Mayenne. Les Croisettes is located 5 km from the town and can be found on the right-hand side of the road, after the saw mill ("scierie"). St Pierre-sur-Orthe is ½km further on.
From Caen
Take the 158 to Sees and follow the instructions above.
From Le Havre
Either take the A131 towards Rouen, picking up the A28 towards Alencon and Le Mans (or take the road signposted to the Pont de Normandie. Go over the bridge and take the 834 towards Bernay where you pick up the A28 towards Alencon and Le Mans). At the 1st junction after Alencon sud, take the D310 to Fresnay-sur-Sarthe and Sille-le-Guillaume. Follow the instructions above from Sille.
Calais
Take the A16 to Abbeville and pick up the A29 to Alencon and Le Mans. Follow the instructions above.
